  • We could only visit for a very short time (30 minutes), but it was worth even that short stay!! It would have been worth a good 30 minutes more and even longer if you had time for a picnic at the base...  more »
  • Like I said it we liked, what we found well, was the visitor center. There was much to the touch and try out for themselves. The laser light show was also very interesting and definitely recommendable

  • Dam and the area around about what you would expect - it was tricky accessing the Visitor Centre (better signs needed) but worth the effort - it's not huge but there are plenty of interesting exhibits

  • They say this dam can hold back the entire Coulee Reservoir? Really?? All 600,000 tons of it? Oh please! This dam wouldn't stand a chance against the raging torrent that would ensue were it not held back so tightly by the government's secret powers! You do not fool me, you slab of concrete basked in high daylight! There is clearly more at work here than simple stoppage of water by thick concrete walls. Behind the walls of these dams lies not undrinkably massive volumes of water but the darkest magicks which our species has ever coerced from Earth's blackest soils!
  • My visit was nostalgic, last time I was here was the mid 90's. Brought my boy here for the laser show and he loved it. Then before everything closed up we toured the inside to learn more about the history. Good times.
  • Impressive large site to explore. The laser show is spectacular.
  • I've been here. In the 90's when I was a kid. It was awesome but scary to walk the damm the laser light show was also cool played with some pink Floyd. Enjoyed. It with the family. Sometimes those days only last so long, never forget
  • The Grand Coulee Dam is an amazing feat of engineering. Check out the laser show or visit the museum for some fun an interesting details.
