  • Course looked great as we drove up, however this quickly changed. We had booked the night previously for a good seniors rate of $54, but were quickly told that morning the rate would $89 ( which was $...  read more »
  • We played this course on a Wednesday at noon and the green fees were $58.00. The course was in terrible shape. No rakes in the sand traps, brown bare spot every ware, no drinking water on the course. ...  read more »
  • Wonderful fish meals on Fridays for lent. Waiting line is long. But well worth it. Otherwise menu isn't extensive as ND prices a bit high. But, it's a golf club.
  • We had our wedding at Mississippi Dunes on June 4. It was a beautiful day. Nate and the staff at Mississippi dunes were very helpful leading up to our day and day of. Nate was very accommodating of all requests. We had many compliments on the food and they were able to serve it early which worked out so great! There was a chance of rain so they went through all of the work to set up the treehouse for a last minute indoor ceremony location if needed. At the end of the night one of our guests needed a ride back to the hotel and Nate offered to give them a ride! That is definitely above and beyond from a venue coordinator. Thank you for a great wedding day Doc, Nate, and Mississippi Dunes staff.
  • Decided to play here based on their website. The 9th hole which they show as a signature hole had been closed for 3 months. The layout did not match their yardage book, had the 9th listed. The redesigned holes 10-14 didn't have any yardages posted anywhere. The 'updated' card was inaccurate also. Wish I had picked somewhere else to play. Course was in good condition though.
  • Let me start this review by saying that if it were not for the newest set of coordinators, Nate & Linda, this review would not be five stars, but because of them, it is! This review starts rough but has a happy ending so bare with me! My husband and I were married here on 5/28/2016. We started planning at the beginning of 2015 and were put through the absolute ringer and left stressed beyond belief. Two months before our wedding, we actually contemplated trying to find somewhere new. We went through 4 different wedding coordinators in that time span and each time a new one came in, suddenly the rules changed too and nothing we had been told before was ever correct according to each new coordinator. It was an absolute headache and if I would not have been so detail oriented in my planning and counting on the venue itself for very little, our day would have been a disaster. They would never contact us to set up meetings or let us know information we needed so it was always me needing to stay on top of them. No bride should have to be as stressed as I was with this venue. Not to mention, I had no confidence in the people who were supposed to be pulling my wedding together from the venue side. It was miserable. The week of my wedding, I received a call from a very eccentric man named Nate who called himself the "details" guy. Although at first all I could think was "another new coordinator THE WEEK OF MY WEDDING.. this can't be happening." However, it ended up being the best possible thing that happened to us during our entire time planning with the Dunes! Nate & his wife Linda were AMAZING to work with! Nate was always on top of getting ahold of me to keep me updated on what was going on and check to see if there was anything I needed. He was always in high spirits and full of optimism which was such a relief for me! If it were not for the two of them and the staff they had on our wedding night, it would not have been the perfect wedding that it was! These two honestly swooped in and saved the day! I am beyond grateful to them for being so attentive, helpful, detail oriented, accommodating and cheerful! They went above and beyond what they had to in order to make sure my dream wedding went off without any issues and I can confidently say, IT WAS PERFECT thanks to them! With Nate & Linda in charge, I would recommend this venue to anyone! With the two of them, you are in excellent hands and your day will be just as perfect as ours was! Thank you so much Nate & Linda! You are such amazing people and I don't know what we would have done without you! The Dunes is a better place because of you already!
  • Way too expensive for quality, it was around $90 for 18. Short par 5's, pretty straight course. Course a little tough to navigate as the cards aren't updated with the new layout. Watch out! They don't keep good track of tabs, added extra drinks to ours that we didn't have. Some staff super friendly but the Owner (Doc) doesn't care about anyone but himself, he will talk about himself and how awesome he his all day long if you'll listen to him. Said he invented chemotherapy then called my buddy an a**hole for laughing at him. There's got to be better courses out there for the price and better customer service.
  • Not a fan. Rates online said $60 for 18 but at check in it was $70 plus a $10 cart key deposit. Who does that? No drinking water on the course. Lots of blind shots. Terrible hole to hole signage. Some very nice holes on the front nine and some cow pasture holes on back 9. No gps in the carts and very few yardage markers on the course. Not worth $80. Wont be back.
