Mississippi Dunes Golf Links Reviews
One of the most beautiful outdoor dining facilities in Minnesota. Too bad the entire venue is disheveled and unorganized. Currently place is closed and site is up for sale. :( more »

My buddy and I made a team time at this course. What they failed to tell us is that they had been without water for a couple of weeks. When we arrived the morning of our team time we proceeded to pay ... more »
Beautiful venue but their manager Dennis did everything in his power to ruin our wedding. He didn't pay attention to any details. He told us his staff would apply seat covers but they never did. Our wedding party did that for them. A member of his staff also took us out on a golf cart to show us locations of the course we could have our wedding photos taken, the day of our wedding Dennis told us we aren't allowed on the course even though Mississippi Dunes staff spent a day with us on the course for photo locations. He even yelled at my bride when she asked when we could take a cart out for pictures.
I was a big fan of Mississippi Dunes golf course in the past. I bought a season pass in March. At the beginning of the year I was optimistic that they would make the changes necessary to get it in good playing shape. After a month or so it became clear they weren't putting any money in to the course. They haven't raked the bunkers all year. They don't move tee boxes or pins. They didn't fertilize the course and weeds are growing up all over the course including the greens. Pretty sure they just did the membership thing to get some final $ before they close it down. Sad to see because this use to be one of my favorite courses. I'll miss playing it and hope a new owner takes it over.
Course WAS beautiful and well maintained years ago. But they should be ashamed of themselves for selling season passes (and not maintaining the course) when they knew they would be closing and/or selling it due to the sexual harassment lawsuits against the owner. Goodbye Mississippi Dunes
Simply put.... what happened? I've played Mississippi Dunes a half dozen times in the past, but haven't been there since last summer. We came out this weekend and it was a disaster! Dead spots all over the course (tee boxes, fairways, and greens and the rough is entirely dead). I don't think its been watered in weeks! Odd projects 1/2 completed with mounds of dirt all over the place. Tee markers that haven't been moved in weeks. One person was working on a busy Sunday morning to check people in, get carts, sell beer/soda, and act as the starter (the kid did a great job, but was overwhelmed). No beer cart (85 degrees on a Sunday.... please explain this omission). I don't know if the owner has given up or is getting ready to sell, but I won't be back until things change, there are just too many other courses that are maintained to waste my time hitting off of dead fairways, over mounds of dirt and construction debris to a dead beaten up green. Its just not worth it.... and considering how good the course was in its prime.... that's a shame.
A picture's worth a thousand words, sadly. Really loved this place, but now I feel like I've betrayed the friends who signed up for the "UNBEATABLE, UNMATCHABLE, UNBELIEVABLE season pass" with me. I pushed them hard to join, and the course hasn't been in playable condition since mid-May.
