  • As a runner in Costa Mesa this is one of the few places I can go and get a decent run in. Access to the Santa ana bike trail give you options if you want to run/bike farther.
  • A rare relatively undeveloped urban open space and wildlife habitat. Great place to find some calm amidst the craziness
  • Beautiful park. I enjoyed my time here however I had a friend whose item was almost stolen by a lady named Lisa Manfredi. You can google that name and find out what happened but ended up getting the item back. She hid it in her shirt and tried to walk away with it.
  • Any park where you can fly model planes is good, imo. LOL, I actually saw Stuart Tyson's vid on YouTube before seeing his post... it's about a lady attempting to steal a quad copter, small world! He's the guy who posted about 2 months before me & says to Google that lady for details. Listen to the smugness in the lady's voice as she tries to steal a quad copter, then turns on the fake tears for the cops. The cops must have thought she was crazy! But yes, the park is kinda unique in the area... it even has scaled down model train tracks with trains that you can actually ride (if you can call those models)!
  • Pretty large park with lots of open space. There are many trails leading into and out of it. It is adjacent to a rattlesnake refuge, so be careful.
