Peavy Arboretum is an arboretum operated by Oregon State University and located on Arboretum Road, Corvallis, Oregon. It is open to the public daily without charge.The arboretum was dedicated by the university in 1926, operated as a Civilian Conservation Corps camp from 1933–1942, and reverted to College of Forestry management in 1964. While the CCC was active, they planted trees, expanded the nursery, constructed Cronemiller Lake, and built roads, trails, and firebreaks.

  • Went on a referral from friend. Love the grounds and the guides were very helpful and cheery. Great Mother Nature fix and a wee stretch for the legs.!  more »
  • There are a variety of trails to suit all interests. The views are incredible and the trails go through a majestic forest with a variety of plants and wildlife.  more »
  • Take a hike, sol walk and enjoy the beauty of a well designed Arboretum. Make it an educational one to lear how to identify the trees around you.  more »

  • Lovely rolling hills and walking trails. Even though it was in the 90s, there was plenty of shade to make a 4 Mike walk doable.
  • There are plenty of trails ranging in difficulty. Each goes through serene beauty and fresh air.
