  • This was a great experience my daughter loves Selena and for $3.00 it was worth it. We also met Selena's father. My daughter is 22 and she was amazed as I was also. My granddaughter also enjoyed learn...  more »
  • Had to see what all the hype was about and was disappointed! People were marking the brick pavers with permanent markers. Other great things to see in Corpus Christi and others who have so much to do ...  more »
  • It was cool seeing her outfits. However I feel that it doesn't live up to the Selena name. But what can one expect with a $3 entrance fee.  more »

  • I went last week to visit the museum. Loved loved loved it especially if you are a fan. It was amazing to see her outfits, awards, dolls etc. Tickets are very cheap. The only issues I have that it was small. I was in and out in 20 minutes. At times it got a little annoying when it got crowed to look at the things. The staff was friendly but the gift shop was small and only sold shirts. I wished I would have met her dad and it was bigger. I wanted to stay longer and see more things.
  • The drive was worthwhile! Great collection of Selena's personal stuff. My fiancee who is avid fan of Selena left the place with tears in her eyes. People would get a great experience of Selena's achievements and lifestyle in a very short time.
  • Had an awesome experience there! Our group had a personal tour of the place by Abraham Quintanilla. He let us ask questions and showed us all the cool stuff they do there! We were very lucky because it is rare for him to do that. Thank you Mr. Q!
  • Worth the wait...It took this GA girl 20 years to get here. Selena fan since I was 14 years old and will be for life. Her music brings joy to the heart and a smile to your soul that last a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing her memories. My hubby planned a whole weekend around taking me to her memorial, the murals, favorite places, home, museum and last a sunset moment to place purple roses on her resting place. Thank you Suzette for being so kind to speak with us and take pictures with us. Your kindness and personality truly showed the love and warmth we all felt in Selena y Los Dino's music. Thank you again for continuing to share Selena with us.
  • This is a must see to appreciate museum. Only $3 they do take donations. It is still an active recording studio. Plan to spend an hour and you can take photos. No flash though. Very entertaining.

Corpus Christi offers an array of lodging throughout the city. Seaside condos, hotels, and motels clustered around the northern point of North Padre Island and spread along Mustang Island offer views over the Gulf of Mexico, and you can also set up a tent or park an RV at one of the campgrounds on the latter. An additional cluster of hotels, motels, and cottages sits along the west side of Corpus Christi Bay, providing convenient access to both the water and many of the city's prime attractions. The numerous national-chain hotels and motels lining South Padre Island Drive serve as viable options if you plan to divide your time between the barrier islands and downtown.
