Specialty Museum Museum
The museum was built by the Quintanilla family in 1998 in response to the thousands of letters mailed to them by fans expressing their desire to have Selena's memory shared with the public. The museum is quickly becoming one of the top tourist attractions in South Texas. It continues to attract a steady flow of visitors from throughout the country and around the world. • Worth the wait...It took this GA girl 20 years to get here. Selena fan since I was 14 years old and will be for life. Her music brings joy to the heart and a smile to your soul that last a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing her memories. My hubby planned a whole weekend around taking me to her memorial, the murals, favorite places, home, museum and last a sunset moment to place purple roses on her resting place. Thank you Suzette for being so kind to speak with us and take pictures with us. Your kindness and personality truly showed the love and warmth we all felt in Selena y Los Dino's music. Thank you again for continuing to share Selena with us.
  • This is a must see to appreciate museum. Only $3 they do take donations. It is still an active recording studio. Plan to spend an hour and you can take photos. No flash though. Very entertaining.
  • Awesome museum. We took our kids & we all had a great time. A must see if you are visiting this city.
  • Loved it. The staff was awesome and so friendly. The could use some more parking since so many people are coming now.
  • I love being here. I've been a devoted fan of Selena since I could remember. Always new surprises when I come. I've gotten to meet Suzette, Mr. Quintanilla and Ricky Vela. One visit we got to see "Behind the scenes", it was so amazing.
