Corpus Christi offers an array of lodging throughout the city. Seaside condos, hotels, and motels clustered around the northern point of North Padre Island and spread along Mustang Island offer views over the Gulf of Mexico, and you can also set up a tent or park an RV at one of the campgrounds on the latter. An additional cluster of hotels, motels, and cottages sits along the west side of Corpus Christi Bay, providing convenient access to both the water and many of the city's prime attractions. The numerous national-chain hotels and motels lining South Padre Island Drive serve as viable options if you plan to divide your time between the barrier islands and downtown.

Must see, a very beautiful sight and walking distance from pier and beach. Enjoyed the scenery. The memorial sight had a beautiful message and to experience the crowd of fans was amazing. more »

The statue is roped off and has more security than the real Selena ever had in her life. Why do people like statues? 🤔Great question! I will tell you why. Photo ops. And what kind of photo op can you get with a statue you can't even touch? A crappy one. All I wanted to do, all anyone wants to do, is take a pic of the Selena statue with your hand on her supple bottom she was so famous for. Well that opportunity is ruined by roping off the statue. Don't waste your time. Just screenshot my snapped butt pic and tell your friends you went. Go to the Joint Venture Sandwich Shop instead.
