Where to stay in Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi offers an array of lodging throughout the city. Seaside condos, hotels, and motels clustered around the northern point of North Padre Island and spread along Mustang Island offer views over the Gulf of Mexico, and you can also set up a tent or park an RV at one of the campgrounds on the latter. An additional cluster of hotels, motels, and cottages sits along the west side of Corpus Christi Bay, providing convenient access to both the water and many of the city's prime attractions. The numerous national-chain hotels and motels lining South Padre Island Drive serve as viable options if you plan to divide your time between the barrier islands and downtown.

  • Had read reviews prior to visiting, I agree with most. It was a nice park, small enough where you can see where you kids are. We had our 14 yr old and our 7yr old grandson. We spent half a day, they w...  more »
  • Overall admission great spring break price not enough seating but to be expected it was spring break food very expensive the main thing the children enjoyed themselves and had a blast will visit again  more »
  • Great place for the kids to cool off and have some fun during season. also adults can cool off with a cold one at the water bar.  more »

  • Affordable family fun but patrons are ruthless and will snatch your kids floats the second you/they turn your back, so watch out! It's also near impossible to find one (which is required to do anything) so get there an hour early to search for one. Also, there's a color coding system allowing only certain color floats/rafts on certain rides and they don't tell you until you've waited in line and get to the top, which is weird since those are the rafts you find near the entrance of the ride. They definitely need more of a structured system in order for people to have a good time, such as returning floats after each ride so they're available for the next person to use. But, apparently that's a foreign concept for Hurricane Alley.
  • So I'm guessing Veterans that have done there time to serve their country are not good enough to get a discount? I went onto your website to inquire into visiting your waterpark but looked to see if we could save a few dollars since we are not from the area and would need to travel a few hours to visit, but was told that "ONLY 100% DISABLED VETERANS QUALIFY OR ACTIVE DUTY ONLY. " The young lady was very polite and I heard her out that her father also is at 80% disabled that the VA still is reviewing their case like ours. If a Veteran is at any percentage even 0% they served for us the least a company can do is give them a small break!??? I'm guessing since my husband is at lower percentage than 100% we are not good enough? Real nice Hurricane Alley Waterpark. Thanks for honoring those that served for you and oh I bet you go all out on special holidays saying we love our Military .. yeah I don't think so.
  • We had a great time. My reason for giving 4 stars is because of all the young junior high kids hanging all over one another and kissing. The lifeguards just turned their heads. I wanted to tell them something so bad. But I discovered that none of the lifeguards looked happy. Being worked too much...maybe.
  • Lots of life guards on duty who took their job seriously and made sure safety was first. It was small but appropriately priced. Lots of places to sit and covered area, bar in a pool and friendly staff. Lines were short. When we order the chicken meal it was enough food for two people and tasted ok however they do not provided lids or straws. The food was a tiny bit pricey. Very few food choses. Could be kept a little better and only had 5 slides. The kid area needs to be updated. They need to come up with a better system on taking pictures and a way to look online at the pictures. Always running out of floats you had to wait for floats or walk far to get them. Lockers small to fit a normal size bag. The wave pool was a joke. There was not enough waves and not strong. Overall it was fun just need to change a few things and will recommend to visit.
  • This is the first time we have ever been here and it will not be the last. The staff was super friendly not expensive at all super clean and super fun the lines are not long at all and it's infant frendly I will definitely be back soon. On Tuesday and Fridays they have movie night and I also believe you can bring your coolers with like food.
