  • Very nice museum. It has improved tremendously over the last few years and now can provide a worthwhile experience for children of all ages.
  • This museum is about the right size for a local museum and has a good mix of science and history displays. I think one of the strong points the museum has is the exhibit on local native american cultu...  more »

  • This is a really great place to come and enjoy during the week. It's not crowded at all, and you can enjoy all the exhibits at your own pace. The kids area is greatly improved and the more they add the better it's going to get as a whole!
  • Pretty solid museum with lots of history of the various people who have made Texas/Mexico what it is today. Sadly the Columbus ships are no longer available and that was a bummer. Spend 3 hours here and learn a lot. Admission of $9 is hard to beat in terms of length of entertainment
  • Catered towards a young audience now. As an adult it was a solid hour before leaving. Rock and mineral area was interesting.
  • It was nice, lots of history but not enough things for a toddler to do, outside playground was nice too but the mosquitos were very bad.
  • Great location and venue!! Mark Chestnut performed outside under a full moon!! The lit-up bridge provided a beautiful backdrop while watching a tanker come into port!!
