  • This is a nice area filled with specialty shopping and dining from snacks to high end restaurants. You can usually find free street parking on 1st.
  • This is a nice little place where the ferry comes in from the San Diego side. They have a lot of stores, some restaurants and the best view in the area. You get a great view of the downtown San Diego ...  more »

  • Great place to visit and spend 2-3 hours. Take a ferry from N harbor drive, San Diego and lend here. Explore the area by walk or by bicycle. Rental bikes are also available. You can rent a kayak too. There are some nice shops and dining areas.
  • The Ferry Landing in Coronado is a great tourist destination in the San Diego area, whether or not one actually uses the ferry to cross the bay. When skies are clear, one can look across the bay and see the beautiful skyline of Downtown San Diego. There is a small beach, which is refreshing compared to the massive beaches in California up north. Steps away, there are several locally-based restaurants, including some with open-air seating, as well as souvenir shops. I always try to visit this wonderful place every time I travel to San Diego and Coronado Island.
  • After coming off such a wonderful ferry ride to Coronado Island, what better Landing than one that has tons of food and shopping. My wife and I spent quite a bit of time just at the Landing before we went on to Orange and trekked our way out towards the famous Hotel Coronado.
  • Fun spot for watching people, ships, and boats go by. Good dining options in wide price range, okay shopping, fabulous location on the water, and terrific views of down town San Diego. Great place to spend part of an afternoon or evening.
  • Beautiful place to walk around. Beaches with bay and skyline views, great restaurants like Lil Piggy's bbq, and enough near by parking to usually get a spot.
