  • This is a great beach with great sand, views and people watching! It is close to the historical Hotel del Coronado. There is parking along the beach. Excellent running along the beach also. When there...  more »

  • Nice sandy beach with park. Walking distance to restaurants & shops. Families galore....sand castles, picnics, fun in the sun!
  • Beautiful beach and awesome place to spend time with family and friends. You can park along the road, but it's difficult to find a space in peak hours ( from 12:00 to 5:00 pm). Your dog and you can spend a awesome time together. Don't miss to see a spectacular sunset from here.
  • Beautiful, clean beach!! Parking all along side streets. I would still try to get to the beach as early as possible tho since parking fills up fast. Around 10am I arrived and had no parking issue but when I left at noon there were very limited spots. The view is awesome though. A great view for those who never experienced a Californian beach!
  • If you have a "mean mug" dog such as pitbull/boxer this place might not be for you. Also, if you don't truat your dog 100% don't let him/her off the leash cause at the far right of thw beach there's a net that can stop you from crossing but not your dog.
  • Clean sand, very little trash, and generally friendly dogs and owners. My dogs have never gotten sick or fleas from this beach. It's not huge like fiesta, but is a clean environment for dogs to play. Only warning: between about 11am-3pm on sunny days, sand gets extremely hot and can burn dogs feet. Walk barefoot to test temperature out yourself and carry your dog to the shore or wait to bring them during cooler hours.
  • Coronado Beach is great as it offer a large amount of space to spread out. People are more dense around the hotel, but just a little to the north west you can find a quite space to spread out. Also parking on surface streets is much easier than other beaches nearby.
