I was unaware that Louis Armstrong lived in NYC, and in Corona Queens of all places! Beautiful House and very interesting information on the tour. Some of which was very timely today. I also enjoyed learning about what a music lover Armstrong was (beyond Jazz). I am glad I went!
Nice little gem in Corona. Was surprised to learn this was right around the corner from where I was staying. Got to go on a guided tour before catching a Mets game. Really cool.
Time traveling into a world where music had soul and class. The love of Louis and His wife can still be felt in his house. I first went to the home as a young girl and now I take all my friends that visit NYC. A must see for all black people who love and respect Jazz music which was created by African Americans.
