This was a great stop to try some wine. You purchase your wine tastings by the glass (1.5 oz I believe) and there is not a flight...which I liked. The merlot was amazing. Each glass is either $2 or $3... more »
Stopped in to try some wines and the lady behind the bar was so rude and short with us. She didn't seem at all interested in telling us about the wines. She barely made eye contact and rushed us throu... more »
Very small and quaint. They have a round bar where you sit for the wine tastings but if you want to eat here, they take you to a separate room in the back. The room is nice and quiet but because it's ... more »
The wines, all four red wines taste the same high in tannins terrible when we asked about other ones we were told about a proprietors wine but could not taste unless we were a wine club member. some of the worst wine I think I've ever had. If you're coming from out-of-state why would you join a wine club you will never participate in. And why would you put your worst ones as a tasting to represent your Winery.
Had a tasting with reds only and was pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed the Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Cabernet, and Syrah. Very laid back atmosphere. Lucas was very helpful with navigating through the wines. He was also very helpful with other recommendations for the rest of our trip. Definitely worth the visit for great wine and experiencing a family owned vineyard.
We attended a winemakers dinner. VERY VERY nice. Enjoyed a group tasting before. Their team is involved in all aspects of the wine making process making the tasting and tour very informative. The dinner was amazing with the chef demonstrating how and discussing why he prepared the additional dishes like wilted baby kale with pistachios. Overall it was a very enjoyable evening. Oh and there was live guitar music to eat by!
very neat place, quiet and relaxing, good wines
The wine is good, even though the spendy side. Staff is very friendly
