  • More tasting options than you could imagine. Need more room for the tasting. Peoples were lined up two deep to taste. Like the beer and wine option. Really good options for purchasing.  more »
  • This is a must-see for those who like olives. And even if you don't much care for olives, the cafe is a nice change from franchise fast food. Worth a stop if passing through Corning on I-5.  more »
  • It's hard to find 'made in USA' organic olive oil anywhere near the small Oregon Coast town where I live. So when I took a road trip recently, I made sure I planned a stop here as I knew they would ha...  more »

  • So many olives. Olive heaven. They have everything--wine, cheese, OLIVES, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, bread, all kinds of kitchen stuff. They are very generous with samples so you can try the olives before you buy. The only downside is trying to narrow down your favorites because they are all so freakin' delicious. I ended up buying like a case of olives. 😍
  • Good wine. Good olives. Weird liquor laws. "No minors allowed" meant a sleeping baby couldn't be brought into the wine tasting area. Welcome to California.
  • What a great little store. A friend told me about it and I stopped on the way to Redding from Sacramento and I was glad that I did. There was a wide variety of olives mostly stuffed with something or other. Not as many black olives as I had hoped for it but I ended up buying green olives stuffed with blue cheese; pickle garlic with habaneros; a dried Greek style pitted Olive; an antipasto mix; and a green olive spread. All for a reasonable price! Try the beer and wine bar while you're there.
  • I loved the Almond Olives and that they give the kiddos stickers. There were so many to taste. They even opened a jar for me to taste one that wasn't already out.
  • This is a regular stop for us when driving up or down I-5. The Olive Pit has a great selection of olives in every imaginable flavor combination. So delicious! Great olive oils, also. This is a gourmet gift shop with something for everyone.
