  • Took my 6 year old son on a day trip. We both were very excited about what this park had to offer. Although swimming is only allowed in specific beaches along lake norman, this place is worth a visit....  read more »
  • Great place to spend a beautiful day outside. Has a paved trail about 1.5 mile loop, a play ground, tennis courts, picnic tables and grills, a small lake front beach and plenty of greenspace.

  • I love this park. It's easily accessible from I-77. The park is big enough that there's generally always parking to be found, even on the nicest days. The views are amazing. Just remember there's a small fee to enter and a couple dollars more if you don't live in Mecklenburg County.
  • Park is great. Lots of nice areas for events, campground grills are really nice compared to other parks. I haven't even seen any vandalism in here, and it's always clean. Would strongly recommend an outing here. A lot of days I just come out here to read and enjoy the weather.
  • Very nice park! U have to pay, but it's not that much, and well worth it. There is a nice playground for the kids, and a paved 1.5 mile trail. It is beautiful and well taken care of.
  • Trails, playgrounds, and running paths all on the water. Overall a great place to spend quality time with people you love.
  • Plenty of places to grill and socialize, nice lil family beach and decent fishing, sure wish my fellow patrons wouldn't leave such huge messes for the rangers to cleanup!
