  • My wife and I traveled here to see some civil war artifacts and learn about the civil war more in detail. There was a severe lack of actual artifacts but an extreme amount of detail as far what went on in the area of Corinth during that time period. My main complaint was that it was ALL in wall plaque form, and you were forced to read about it all. I think the main draw for us was the actual architecture of the building itself and the water feature on the backside was extremely interesting and well thought out. Other than this, if you are looking for a museum experience this is not one, but they also do not claim that. It's a fun free adventure to have with kids or if you love to read about that time period but was not what I was expecting. We liked it, but it's a once you've seen it you've seen it kind of experience.
  • Loved our visit here! A great national park, very well preserved and loved the items the gift shop had. Displayed well.
  • Do not miss this center. One of the finest estate Civil War centers. Staff is excellent. Very good bookstore.
  • wow.. a must do after visiting Shiloh ! Way better then expected and took much longer to go through everything here then expected.
  • Great place. Not far off highway.
