  • If you have never had a real slug burger, this place is where you need to get one. Google search the history on this fine establishment and be sure to stop in.

  • I first visited Borroum's when in town for a wedding. This place is your classic diner and offers classic burgers, milkshakes, and friendly service! Now, I always stop by when traveling through. Friendly atmosphere and good old fashioned food! Highly recommend!
  • BEST CLASSIC DINER AWSOME MILK SHAKES AND THE BEST BUGERS AND SLUGBURGERS
  • My parents were visiting me in town today and I told them we had to go to Borroums's for milkshakes because I heard they were awesome (I just moved here two months ago, and haven't had the chance to try them). I got everybody worked up about them. We walked in around 2:20 (they close at 3) and went directly to the bar. there were at least 6 people behind the bar and it looked like they were making a lot of milkshakes. One person said hi then walked away. everybody kept walking by us and not saying anything.... no "We will be with you shortly" or anything. The restaurant was not even at half capacity. We sat there close to five minutes and I thought that maybe we were supposed to order at the register then sit down, so the three of us got up and walked to the register and I took my money out. We stood there for another three minutes with no acknowledgement. Again, there were at least 5 or 6 people behind the bar and they were not actively all making milkshakes. One was restocking glasses. All that needed to be done was acknowledge us or even attempt to take our order. I have worked in the restaurant business from the time I was 15 to 22. I know what it is like to be busy, and I know that I have never ignored a customer even in passing. I always had a minute to ask if somebody had been helped and even if I could not help them in that moment, I assured them that they would be helped. That is all it takes. We were completely ignored. My dad was getting agitated, So we walked right out. I was pretty embarrassed to have brought them there just to be ignored.
  • A fun, historical fixture to the town, Borroum's has great food, pleasant staff and an all-around nice, nostalgic atmosphere.
  • The BEST malts, cherry cokes, burgers, etc....EXCELLENT!!
