  • This is a great stop along the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway, because it's the closest major waterfall to Portland and you don't have to hike the full trail to view the falls. In fact, you only have t...  more »

  • This waterfalls is amazing! It is incredibly tall and plummets into the rocks with so much power. One of my Oregon favorites. Easy pull off off the Columbia River Gorge Historic Highway. There is a viewpoint, a trail to the upper and lower view, where you can get right up the where the waterfall meets the ground, and each one is incredible :)
  • Excellent hike. Short but with some good inclines and incredible scenery (of course, it's in the gorge!) There are two waterfalls and you can go behind both. Several amazing photo opportunities and one spot with an incredible view of the Columbia River Gorge. You can also just take a short walk up to the first viewpoint so you're not really committing to a "hike" for those less able bodied.
  • Amazing waterfall! Short walk from parking lot and you can get real close and feel the mist while gazing up in admiration.
  • Beautiful and very tall waterfall. We were tired so we just walked the 450 meters up the relatively steep path and within 5' we had a spectacular view of the waterfall.
  • Perfect easy hike to spend 1-2 hours enjoying the natural waterfalls and creeks. Easy access from the highway, a very quick drive out of the city.
