  • This place is beautiful and very easy to access. You can see the falls from 2 different viewpoints: from below (look for the stairs that goes downstairs near the bridge) and in the middle section (entrance near the restrooms). There are trails for hiking and nice spots with amazing views to the Columbia River. You can bring your dog on-leash. Bring snacks since there isn't anything to buy around here.
  • Latourell Falls is gorgeous. The lower Trail loops around and takes you to the base of the falls, so you can either go to the base and Hike back the way you came or take the full loop around to the bottom part of the park and then hike back up. The trail which leads uphill takes you to a view of the whole Falls itself from afar instead of near the base. This is also a gorgeous view in its own right. If you feel like hiking further, you can continue up the trail from here to Upper Latrell Falls. The hike to Upper Latourell Falls is about three-quarters of a mile, so it's around 1.5 miles round trip. the hike to Latourell Falls itself is much shorter. If you are here in Portland to view the Columbia River Gorge, this is worth a stop.
  • Beautiful falls with easy access from the road. Has cool rock formations and good options for hiking. Multnomah is the main attraction but I prefer the other ones along the highway because they are less crowded.
  • Amazing scenery! Well worth the stop. Take the trail up and around the falls.
  • Such a beautiful and soothing place! The hike is short, falls are so vibrant you'll get mist on your face and hair. Very unique!
