  • This an amazing view. It was just after the rain but clearing and a great shot of the Columbia Gorge. A short drive from Portland off I-84 it is well worth the drive.  more »

  • This is a beautiful place. The view is incredible. On a warm sunny day, thismplace is packed. Thats the only downside. But if you come early in the morning, it's peaceful. The highway 30 is historical and scenic. And leads to amazing waterfalls.
  • Wonderful views. Historic Hwy 30 is also a great drive.
  • This place is breathtaking, truly a must see when visiting the area. Good luck trying to take a picture of such vast grandeur, it ain't easy. Also lots of cool history, just ask a volunteer for a tour :) also don't park in the buses only spots.
  • What a beautiful stopping point along the scenic highway! Make sure you go in and check out the gift shop and history in the basement, the beauty of the building is worth a peek! On a clear day the view is quite extensive, giving a gorgeous panorama of the gorge.
  • What a gorgeous view! Bring some extra layers of warm clothes because the wind was much stronger and colder up there than down in the gorge.
