  • One finds mainly Cuban families there on the weekends and countless brides and grooms that there are photos with cheesy beautiful background – as you can see already some Scurrility ;-) Irma has very used to the paradise! Red fish – the local spot almost no longer exists and so far no one has found himself who will rebuild it. But supposedly eh not so good ;-) was No concerns! So the towel and what to the drink to take + 5 dollars during the week!

  • I went with my 4 year old daughter in a weekday, she loved it, was empty. Looks like a pool of water so calm. Has public toilet and parking was $5 the car for the entire day

  • Cool place. Used to have a restaurant before IRMA hurricane. It's cool for chilling, sunbathing, swimming, fishing, kayaking etc. Parking is paid but after the hurricane it's free so make use of it :) . There's a sailboat run aground, cool to see what winds can do, not so cool for the boat owner though :) . Besides all that, there's a marina, lots of birds, boat and other water sports items rentals. Once they start charging for parking again, there's a parking area about half a mile before you reach the ocean where you can park for free. A nice little jungle path starts from there but it's flooded during high tide and usually dirty so be careful.
  • Great family beach with a cove, lagoon and lifeguard on duty. Bike trails go throughout the park including areas by the enclosed lagoon. The lagoon is great for familes. Good sand for south Florida. There is a company that rents water sports equipment. The boat ramp is open but the restaurant is closed from hurricane damage. Parts of the cove road were still closed. There is an entry fee.
  • This a beautiful park. It has kayak rentals. Nice areas to go kayaking in, but be careful about going during a windy day. Sometimes they will not rent the kayaks. Also, they don't allow dogs in the park. That's pretty lame. If you have your dogs there is a nice trail a little south with a parking lot in front of fairchild that opens up to a huge field.
  • Another beautiful park in Miami. Located in historical Old Cutler road in South Coral Gables is a very large protected area. At the entrance you will find the picnic tables area with a terrace built in coral rock. There is a lake and a trail worth visiting. Beautiful and majestic trees and palms. Do not miss this place. You will be happy See my pictures.
  • Great park with beach and picnic tables. Beach is great for families and young kids. Shallow water with little or no surf. Ample (pay) parking.
