  • Very nice place to spend the afternoon. Cafe was closed but they had good Greek food set up outside. Butterfly exhibit was also really interesting. The volunteers that work the gardens were a wealth of knowledge about the plants and history of the gardens.
  • This is a must-see for us whenever we have time during a Miami area visit. The gardens are very well kept. The tour is informative and there are always plants in bloom. Giant tropical trees, well marked and well placed are delight. The new orchid area with orchids in natural settings is very well done.
  • One of my favorite places in Miami. Come here often to walk, bird watch, and explore the gardens. They often have festivals and a plant sale twice a year with many unique plants. I recently took a botanical Illustration class here taught by Donna Torres. It was a lot of fun and I feel like my watercolor skills improved so much. A must visit place for locals as well as tourist!
  • Kids were very excited to see too many iguanas and turtles. They have an activity sheet for kids to look for animals and plants. They loved the butterfly farm. Prices are worth because it is clean and beautiful...
  • Beautiful lush gardens to walk through at your leisure. They also have a butterfly house. They host several events throughout the year as well as clinics and photography classes. The Orchid festival and chocolate festival are a personal favorite. They are in the heart of Cutler Bay near coral gables. Plenty of parking. You can stay all day. They also have a little cafe and restaurant on site. Lovely way to spend the day in South Florida.
