  • Walking through Coral Gables and after thinking a lot if it would or not (after all, had polled about the exhibits of this Museum) I decided to risk it. Admission is $10 and not seven as is announced in the planfleto distributed inside the Museum and student pays $8 and no $5. The Museum brings a permanent exhibition about the history of Coral Gables and the mobilization of local population to maintain the historic buildings and the architectural features of the city. The temporary exhibition is about Cuban art. Only worth a visit if you have a lot of time in the city.

  • This is a very interesting museum, mostly about the history of Coral Gables, promoting historic and environmental preservation. It is housed in a fabulously restored police and fire station. The building is beautiful inside and out. The building is huge and can be rented for events.
  • Got lucky and came here on family day. They also had a show going on too. The museum itself was pretty interesting. Learnt a lot about how the area was formed.
  • This building was completely renovated recently and is very nice with a large courtyard. Events are frequently hosted here. It is located right in the heart of downtown Coral Gables. There is parking to be had on the side streets and in the municipal parking garage. There are numerous restaurants and bars in very close vicinity.
  • A surprisingly very unique museum. Came here for the Miami New Times Artopia event, which was pretty cool. The museum itself was definitely a surprise as it not only focused on the history of Coral Gables, but also had a very in-depth history of Miami as well, which was a nice surprise. They also have a VERY cool sea-level display that will blow your mind and visually show how much of an issue this will pose for our city if things don't change soon. Definitely take the time to make a stop here.
  • Love this place. Have to go back.
