  • Extensive village not well marked easy to get lost. Lots of specials to lure customers. Slow in summer compared to other resorts. Long walk from lots to ski lifts. No town connected resort sits alone.  more »

  • Copper is one of our very few favorite mountains. It's really easy to walk from any of the nearby condos to the ski base, and the mountain is the easiest of any of them (in my opinion) to get around once you're on it. It feels like I can get to any point on the base from almost any point up the mountain. Our family also really appreciates the layout, with some of us being expert riders and some being beginners. The beginner terrain is very accessible (west side of the base) and is easy to get back to from above. The people working here are generally very friendly, and we've had great experiences with their ski/snowboard instructors. All in all an excellent place to go.
  • My favourite resort now. Fun runs, great parks and good s chance snow and facilities. Even though we have a condo in Breckenridge and love it there, we find ourselves over at Copper at least half of our time. Less waiting in lift lines and easy parking. Has a great feel.
  • My 6-year old just finished Day 4 of his lessons, every Sunday for the Month of February. I could not be more pleased. His coaches were awesome with him. He has a short attention span and the lessons were to teach him to board and allow me some time to go by myself. It was fantastic. The coaches were great. Normally you only have one coach but our regular coach was out of town one day and the sub was great as well. For the last day my son was one on one with a coach. I did not ask why but from what I picked up on being a little ahead of him in the lift line once my son may have needed some extra help. Whatever the reason it worked out great and I believe it was an attempt by the school to be accommodating to all. I happened to pass him going down when I was on the lift and could not believe my eyes. He was killing it and the coach was working great with him. The school does a great job at putting each kid in his the class best suited for him based on experience and age, and like I said before they seem to adjust well if needed. They take plenty of breaks to keep the kids warm and well rested. At the end of the day my son gave the coach and big hug and thanked him for his help. Wish some of the other adults working with him had half the patience and ability to work with him as these coaches seemed to. Thank you and we will be back again next year!
  • Copper Mountain has something for everyone. It’s a large mountain, with good terrain at every level. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Plus, it’s easy to get to off of I-70. The terrain is generally separated by ability. There aren’t a lot of places where advance terrain funnels into beginner terrain. Copper is one of our family's favorite places to ski.
  • Been here twice and still living it. The trails are wide and groomed every time. You can see US Olympic team training here from time to time. The restaurants are great too. As I was here on a week day both times, there were no crowds.
