  • Fort Wilkins was built in Copper Harbor in the mid 19th century as a base to police the mining boom. It never saw any real action as such and fell into disrepair but has been restored as a fort museum...  read more »
  • We loved Fort Wilkins State Park. The fort itself was superb with some of the best interpretation and exhibits for this type of historical exhibit we've ever seen.
