  • Beautiful view of the king tides. It was amazing. Highly recommended to those who like to watch the waves.  more »
  • If you're in the area you should definitely stop by Shore Acres. The ocean meets interesting rock formations with a great view. The rock wall is a little short so be watchful of young children...  more »
  • What a beautiful place to watch the waves come in and a botanical garden to boot! Very relaxing and well worth the 20 minute or so drive from Coos Bay. Highly recommended.  more »
  • Fantastic place relaxing while taking in some beautiful sights. The botanical gardens are well maintained with a wide variety of flowers (especially roses). There is also a seaside cliff that has a great view of the ocean, and there is a secluded cove that is well worth the short hike.
  • Best for senior citizens not looking for adventure. $5 entrance fee gets you easy access to look at rocks and ocean, a tiny botanical garden, a gift shop, and a bathroom. Up the road, the ocean is free and there are sea lions and seals. I was told this place is stunning when large waves hit the massive rocks, but we didn't have waves on our trip.
  • Stopped here on our family vacation to Oregon coast in July 2018. A wonderful place to stop and enjoy the view of the ocean and the beautiful state park. We loved walking around and see the beautiful grounds. The rose test garden was amazing to see all the different colors of roses.
  • I probably would have rated it a 5 star except that the fog was so dense we couldn't see much from the observation points. There are botanical gardens in the property that are pretty. Parking is ample.Just down the road about a quarter of a mile is a colony of seals and sea lions. We couldn't see them but we could definitely hear them!
  • I've been coming here with my family my whole life. Now I get to bring my kids here and make new memories with them. I used to come here on stormy, windy days with my grandma, as a young boy. We enjoyed watching the huge waves crash against the rocks and shoot up into the air. So many good times at this park, every season of the year. We love it!
