  • I never get tired of traveling across the bridge. The views are great & the structure itself is beautiful. Especially at sunset.  more »
  • Having been raised in the area, I've been over this bridge many times. There is construction going on right now but no long delays. Great piece of craftsmanship.  more »
  • This is a 2 lane very scenic bridge that takes Hwy 101 over the Bay by North Bend that was built in the 30's. It is easy to exceed the speed limit. Watch for bicyclists on the side of the lanes. Your ...  more »

  • Beautiful Bridge, fun to walk but scary if heavy traffic is present. Cars travel very close to sidewalk. Great views and even better if you're on a boat fishing for salmon. Wish the repairs to it wouldn't take so long.
  • I do love the McCullough Bridge because it lets me know I'm home. However, it's also under construction and in need of some repairs. It's height is impressive and if you can cross it on a foggy evening it's quite the site. I wouldn't travel far to look at it, but I'm always glad when I see it.
  • For the beautiful sceneries up above and down below
  • The bridge is currently in the process of some construction. It replaced ferries that used to cross the bay. It is on the National Register of Historic Places because of design detail importance.
  • This historic bridge has a lot of stories associated with it, and many of those can be found in publications at the Coos County Historical Society. It is a beautiful structure and well worth the effort to visit. There is a lovely park at the North Bend end of the bridge, and the avenue to Horsfall beach is accessible from the other end. To get the best visual effect, go down the stairs on the North Bend end and take a look at the magnificent arches from that perspective.
