  • Great day trip to enjoy water, beach, yard games and grilling. We used our new kayak on the calm lake. The life guard station had life vests to use for our little boy so he could come on the boat with us!
  • The park was amazing! They have plenty of great fishing spots, a beach area and outdoor activities for the entire family to enjoy. During our trip, the weather could of been nicer, but it has so many beautiful places to see!
  • We really enjoyed camping here. The sites are nice and level. There's so much to see in the area, and this is a great homebase during your stay.
  • Sleepy Lion trail is a great loop. Good challenging climbs with a tree canopy above. So beautiful
  • I highly suggest Sleeping Lion hiking trail. While it offers somewhat stifled views, the exercise is well worth it. The most interesting part of the trail is Hyde Hall. I look forward to visiting when it is open. I believe they have tours.
