We stayed over on a Saturday night, working the farm on Sat afternoon and Sun morning. None of the work they had us do was too hard, even for my special needs child. We fed horses, pigs, goats; collec... read more »

Recommended by friends, we stayed for my son's 5th birthday (with our 7 year old and baby) and had a fabulous time! Kathy and her team are warm and engaging and very down to earth. It is a small worki... read more »
Honestly I'm very disappointed, my daughter enjoyed the spring open house last year even though there were a few adult staff that I heard gossiping about an elderly lady's body shape, that elderly lady was my mom btw. But my daughter enjoyed the animals so much I wanted to take her there again. The family holds memories of my daughter listening/ hearing animals for the first time after getting cochlear implants the month before our visit to the farm. It was her first time hearing animals. As I said I'm disappointed because I was willing to continue going after all that and yet when I call to schedule a time I feel like well...I don't know how to even explain it but it sounds that the farms are busy and they are taking the frustration out on others, I happened to be that person. IT'S VERY SAD THAT I CHOSE TO MAKE MEMORIES WITH MY DAUGHTER AT YOUR FARM. I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW SORRY I AM BECAUSE EVERY MEMORY (HEARING FOR THE FIRST TIME) ESPECIALLY IS VERY SPECIAL TO ME,SADLY IT WAS AT FLINT HILL, NOT AT ALL THE MANNERS I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED FROM CHRISTIAN FARMERS.
The farm was fun and my toddler enjoyed seeing the animals, but we felt that the open house was poorly organized and over priced. For our family of four to go on a hayride, it would have cost $16!!! And that was after we paid $5 to park and spent $15 on mediocre food. There wasn't enough there to justify that cost, so I don't think we will go back for future events.
The location was nice. Its a small farm with a few different types of animals. Lots of cute babies. Got a tour of the farm and also got to learn how they make fresh cheese and got to taste them. Overall a fun time. Only thing I wish is that we got to make our own cheese and take it home.
Spring Hoedown farm to table dinner was fantastic. Family friendly and very educational.

We went to the farm to table spring dinner there and it was a great experience. Can't wait for the next one!
