  • It was ok - if I lived near there I might visit just because it would get me away from all of those people and cars! But the day we visited it was EXTREMELY hot so we couldn't stay long at all. And...

  • Absolutely amazing! But be careful with snakes if you trail into the woods. Other than that if you follow the regular and marked trail you should be fine for a beautiful and peaceful walk.

  • Nice place I wish they had bathrooms... like fishing here, more for the quietness. I do have a question though...do they stock any of these ponds with rainbow trout?

  • This is a great multi-use park! Come walk, jog, run, hike, bike, you name it! It’s a popular place for horseback riding as well, and there are miles and miles of trails for your to explore! You can stick to the main paths or if you’re feeling adventurous, take some of the narrow footpaths and explore the woods!
  • Beautiful trails and they are super wide so minimal risk with black widow's or accidentally walking through spider webs. Also has a pond with really friendly turtles they came up to me and my son on the edge of the shoreline.
  • Beautiful National Forest Park, hidden between civilization. Small park but big enough that allows for your mind to wonder if you're still in the city!!! Walking trails, bike trails even horse riding can be done there. Over all is fun, just plan ahead, parking is limited at some spots.
  • Really good place for a walk, run or even for a picnic, it has some picnic area near the lake, you can fish there as well, catch and release only. It has several trails and for sure more than once you will spot some deer 🦌. Highly recommendable to bring your kids or pets. You won't regret.
  • This park is beautiful and a terrific local place to scape from routine. I'm a bit grateful that most ppl just stop by for their photo sessions (eye roll emoji) otherwise it'd be crowded all around. I'd like to give it a 5☆ BUT there is a pile of trash that has been left accumulated at the beginning of the main trail and I keep hoping it gets removed (hasn't). Looking forward to adjusting review when waste gets removed (see photo). It's a park, it deserves it. Lastly, parking space needs to get expanded bc wknds are a husstle for ppl who look forward to walk/hike/wander.
