  • People who think the rides here are unsafe don't know jack about the amusement business. It may look a little rough around the edges, but everything is actually expertly maintained. They do things here the right way, maintaining a classic, traditional atmosphere instead of the cookie-cutter corporate drone mentality of Six Flags or Cedar Point. The Blue Streak may be the only major coaster in the park, but it's one of the best--an absolute MUST ride for any coaster fan! Additionally, Conneaut has one of the last remaining (and best quality) Tumble Bug rides in the world, the Devil's Den (a cool old-fashioned traditional dark ride), and one of the best flying scooter rides outside of Knoebels. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more than once a year. I encourage everyone to check this place out and enjoy a REAL amusement park!
  • 13 levels of fear? More like 13 levels of awful. There are 13 parts, the first being the front gate, that seems like a rip off. There is no signage in the park directing you to the next haunt and the staff is less than helpful. Went through the first haunt with the clowns and was appalled. Started walking through and the 3 actors in the first area were chasing a toad and didn't even attempt to scare me. Then another girl walked passed me and started talking to her coworker, dropping F bombs. And then the last scare, the chainsaw, the guy was siting on a table and never moved. His saw wouldn't stay on so in front of me, threw it on the ground and said "rawr". The rest of the haunts are about he same, a joke! 2 separate chainsaw actors actually hit myself and a friend with the saw. She was cut and had a bruise. I almost hit the ground when he hit my knee so hard! The staff here is straight out of Wrongturn, carnie people. Actors not in masks or make up, wearing street clothes and not costumes. Actors sitting and chairs and not getting up to scare. I paid my money, and would have liked some effort, instead you get front of house people, sitting on their phones, smoking and just asking how many. Come to me to punch your ticket I can't get up lazy lazy people. I wanted to like this, I really did, but I could not.
  • I've been to ghost lake a few times & my first 2 were great, but just this weekend in the devils den with the bubbles I had a medically named, "near drowning expirence" and an acute asthma attack. It was the night before closing & the sud levels were high, I was hooked onto my friends when we went in, but the suds were over our heads in the pitch black. Once you breathe them in, there's no coughing to clear it out. I lost my way, and was stuck. This triggered my asthma while my lungs were filling with this sud stuff, that was turning into liquid. Meanwhile I couldn't find my way out so it was all I was inhaling. I passed out in these bubbles & eventually got out. I threw up for half an hour after. No precautions were taken for my safety and I'm a minor. No one called my parents or 911. They checked my heart rate, & that was about it. & I'm lucky I got out when I did. I believe I should've received medical attention and a refund. Please do not send your children here.
  • Awesome family park. Friendly staff. They were very short handed tonight, but the employees handled it well, the Supervisor should have been running one of the rides rather than sitting on a bench...but good thing she has good employees. The lady running most of the games was amazing with my kids. The park was very clean...sure its old and rides need painted but it adds to the charm! My kids enjoyed it alot and look forward to coming back next year. I hope the park can dig out and stick around. I think they need to up the price... $10 is so cheap. I bought a braclet too even though I wasnt gonna ride just to give extra revenue. We made sure to play every game, and get some snacks... still alot cheaper then 1 ticket to kennywood, and we felt safe while we were there...unlike kennywood.
  • I have a lot of good memories from this park. The park is in disrepair and many of the rides are either not working or partially working. The blue steak was terrifying, but not in a good way. It is in desperate need of restoration as does the rest of the park. There is a lot of potential in this park and the prices are reasonable. Bumper cars is fun, but a very long wait for 2 minutes in one of their 6 functional cars. Kiddie land is well maintained and safe for those with little ones. There is a converted shipping container over there which is now a very nice public restroom. With improvements and maintenance this could be awesome again.
