  • Great tour for all even if they aren't a big race fan. So interesting! Lots of fun. Not the easiest to find where to go for the tour, but staff was really great.  more »

  • If you are looking for a racing experience, don´t do it! This is a rip-off and has nothing to do with racing. After listening to the same boring safety instructions in a long video and two different speeches given by instructors for more than one hour, you finally get to drive. The car looks like a Nascar but it´s not. The engine is nowhere even close to what is actually used in Nascar, it´s limited to 5000 rpm. During the session, you are instructed by radio on how fast you can go. I had the 8 min "Qualifyer" package, in which I got to drive 5 laps, including one lap coming out and one lap going in. This leaves only three laps in which the instructor slowly lets you increase the speed. If you are lucky - unlike me - you get to hit 5000 rpm in the last lap. I got passed two times, though and was instructed to slow down. This has NOTHING to do with racing, as advertized. There is an even shorter 5 min "Practice" package. I don´t see, how it´s even possible to do less than what I did - it´s just a ripp-off, a waste of time and money! I have done lots of similar events and nothing was so frustrating and boring as this one.
  • My girls and I bought a drive experience for hubby for his birthday, at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He used to race motocross and has loved cars all his life. I was a little afraid the way the drive was structured might be too "tame" for him. But he had a GREAT time, and enjoys telling his friends about the experience. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and we appreciated the photo ops available, as well!
  • We went to the Experience at Talladega in Alabama. The check in was the worse part of our experience. The person who checked us in did not speak to us. We had to ask if we could get an upgrade. After checking in we found out from other attendees that you could purchase a Go Pro (recording of your driving session). The person who checked us in did not ask if we wanted a Go Pro or a photo. I went and purchased the Go Pro while my husband attended the driver's meeting. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the racing experience in the car. We will be visiting again.
  • Had a great time! It was too short! everyone there was professional and very accommodating. They are keen to make it as fun as possible, I missed my chance to upgrade to more drive time. There were some issues with some of the others reservations and the team behind the counter fixed them quickly and quietly. Be on time, I was late because Google maps sent me to the racetrack office and not to where the Nascar experience meets, but since it rained overnight and the track was drying I got a tardy pass. At Atlanta Motor Speedway you need to go to the infield and follow signs, pretty simple now that Ive been once. I would definitely do this again.
  • My wife purchased the "Double Pkg," (2) 8 minute drive sessions, as a Christmas present for me to use at Charlotte MS. Today, March 5, 2016 was my day and the experience was "awesome!" My max speed was 157 mph/Max RPM 5000. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is that for the second 8 minute session, I would have like to have been given the opportunity to increase the RPM limit to the 5700 level, which is allowed for drivers purchasing the "Checkered Flag" package, that adds a third 8 minute session. Overall though, this experience more than met my expectations. From the organization, training and professional staff, including my spotter who provided top notch communications, it has been chalked up as a very positive memory! For sure, this experience made me realize just how challenging it must be for the "real" Nascar drivers to go the distance they do behind the wheel. Hats off to all involved for making this happen, but especially my wonderful wife of 40+ years!
