  • We went with a group of friends with small kids and had a great time. It wasn't crowded and it was a nice place.  more »

  • It was great for my 10 month old. Everything is toddler height. They have screens that tell you about the fish. It's all stroller accessible. The touch tank is nice. If you complete your "passport" you get a cute prize at the end. We loved the tunnel.
  • Great aquarium for a mall! Heck it's a nice one even if it weren't in a mall. A large variety of fish. The new turtle exhibit us cool, but it is LAND turtles. The octopus, sharks, lion fish, sea turtle, and sea horses are my favorite. Lots of viewing advantages. Love the color changer on the jellyfish too.
  • I honestly thought I was going to be disappointed from the outside appearance and odd location...BUT the awesome staff and their structure flow through each exhibit proved us wrong!! Each exhibit/room has a kid friendly atomosphere. There was no bulky structures preventing back up and over crowding. The flow that Sea Life Aquarium creates for your visit is relaxing. You can take your time and your not rushed or pushed through crowds where it would make your time dissatisfying. Tho Sea Life does not have as much as a variety of animals as Georgia Aquarium. Sea Life has their exhibits set up where you WILL see the animals in each exhibit, from kid view and parent view! I tend to purchase annual memberships to aquariums. From this stand point Sea Life in Concord NC is going to be first in my book.
  • A lot packed into a small space, and the exhibits are well designed and highly educational. Go online and purchase your tickets in advance; you'll save a considerable amount over buying as you enter. The stamping stations in each room are a wonderful idea, but there needs to be a special space in the book for collecting the stamps, or even just a plain piece of paper. My grandson stamped his book which we'd purchased there, but the stamps were too small to show up. The breadth of species covered is surprisingly broad, and though the depth is not broad at all, it's appropriate for a small aquarium. It's a great intro for kids or for those who haven't visited more sophisticated aquariums. The touch screen approach to species identification works well; older kids, or those really interested, can get greater depth of info. Little kids aren't hampered by more education than they are ready for. Facility was clean and attractive. Restrooms conveniently located. A nice, surprising addition to a regional mall.
  • Great visuals and aesthetics, however this is a very small aquarium. The display tanks could get crowded out on busy days for the littler ones. Overall, it was nice but the walk thru was too short for the price.
