  • Downtown was updated in the last few years to provide historical info with maps and guides for the new visitor. Nice walking downtown with wide sidewalks and safe traffic management.

  • Looks like a capitol building from the outside. Not big. Looks like an office building inside. I like that they didn't spend excessive amounts of tax money on this building. Nice Senate chamber, touted to be the oldest original one still in use. Lovely entry hall full of flags. They let you enter theoythe main entrance. Plenty of street parking available at $.50/hr. Friendly staff and nice gift shop.
  • Was an amazing experience for us and our homeschooler, I highly recommend this place to everyone, people were so friendly and informative. If you get a chance also go to the visitor center for nh just down the road, wonderful people there as well
  • The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history of New Hampshire. We were able to see the large House chamber (most reps. in the US) and the governor's office. I would highly recommend checking this out if you are interested in history or to get an feeling of what New Hampshire is all about. And it's free! Paid parking is cheap and plenty, however we were told it becomes more scarce during the active sessions.
  • Not real fancy, but it's a real working capital building.
  • THIS USELESS GOVERNOR HAS GOT TA GO...
