  • This statue/fountain is great to stop by and see if you like roadside attractions. It is right beside the River and COSI. It's worth walking over to see.  more »
  • I liked it a lot and it was beautiful at sunset. It’s right by the river and all the other cool stuff in the arena district  more »
  • The gavel is impressive and it certainly stands out but you have to go in to the Supreme Court Building that it sits in front of. That is the main attraction.  more »
  • Lovely place for an evening stroll, for watching fireflies, people watching, or just relaxing. Not too much traffic noise but right on the heart of downtown along the river.
  • Sometimes ostentatiously referred to as the World's Largest Gavel (though Guinness does not recognize it as such), this 30 foot long sculpture sits in a shallow reflecting pool next to the Supreme Court of Ohio. It was installed in 2008 by Andrew F. Scott and commissioned by the Ohio State Bar Association.
  • It'll make you feel small when you think about how big the world is.
  • It is what it says-a very large gavel.
  • Pool was already drained for winter by the end of September. Still interesting to see.
