  • A short walk from the museum of art! As a huge Thurber fan I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the restored house in the self guided tour. Lots of Thurber memorabilia as well as a nice gift shop and friendly staff.
  • the birthplace of James Thurber is a great place to learn about literature. It hosts writing events all year around for people of various ages. They also host picnic with the authors and writers-in residence.
