The Commons is a community gathering place in the heart of downtown Columbus. Building on the strong foundation of the original structure, The Commons opened in April 2011 as a 21st century model for public gatherings and use by the community. The new structure features an expanded indoor playground, complete with a Luckey climber, expanded Miller-Tangeman Lobby featuring Chaos, a Jean Tinguely sculpture created for the original Commons, the Nugent-Custer Performance Hall, The Patio and the Xenia Miller Conference Room (free for not-for-profit organizations to use).

  • Went into here as part of the architecture tour and it was a fun place. Lots of moms and dads, and kids enjoy this space. An indoor playground with a wonderful climbing structure with multiple layers....  more »
  • The interactive structures inside are really unique and kids can entertain themselves for hours. And it's totally free  more »

  • There is art, there is a playground for little ones and there is peace and free wifi. Also some food options available this place is in the heart of the town and is a very good spot to spend the day working at with your laptop or just relaxing.
  • My kids love it! Very fun the tower thing is really neat.
  • My kids loved it when they were young and now my grandchildren are enjoying it. And they have done a lot of improvement to it!
  • Great play area for small children to preteen.
  • Great for my little one to play indoors in winter
