  • The best place to try and enjoy International cuisine! There is an array of cuisine choices here ranging from Mediterranean, European, to Indian and American food. And the best part is, the food is reasonably priced as well. The market is always vibrant with locals and tourists alike! It's almost like a melting pot of different food cultures and experiences.
  • The North Market is a fun place to shop. Loads of vendors with just about any kind of food, desserts, and adult beverages you could want. There are other things there as well and "in season" they have outdoor vendors with very fresh produce, cheeses, eggs, etc... A fun place to shop whether you're just window shopping or finding your next meal. Fresh and prepared food. Good for meat eaters and vegetarians as well.
  • The North Market has an excellent variety of vendors and foods. This is a great place to take large groups because there is always something for everyone. The prices tend to be high but they are mostly worth it for the great food and atmosphere. Seating can sometimes be an issue when it is very busy.
  • Awesome place for a foodie. The selection is phenomenal. Everyone who works here is always seemingly happy. I suggest trying everything! Especially Omega Bakery, Pastaria, and trying out some new spices for cooking by swinging by the spice shop! The BBQ is AMAZING!
  • I love the North Market. This place is wonderful and growing in popularity. The selection of foods, drinks, and sweat treats is endless. Great place to grab a meal or pickup some fresh fish to prepare for dinner. Most of the vendors have a samples out for people to try. My only reel complaint about North Market is the lack of seating. Hot Chicken take over (on the second floor) has a decent amount of picnic style tables. However around lunchtime during the work week and on the weekends there is no open tables. There are a few tables located on the front and rear of the market but they also fill up and are not really an option in the winter months. On a side note: If you're looking for some great fresh fruits or vegetables try the Grove City farmers market Sunday mornings during the summer months.

Where to stay in Columbus

Because Columbus serves as one of the country's major convention centers, its downtown offers comfortable rooms at all price levels. Hotels in the central part of town not only keep you close to all of the city's major attractions, but also provide you with modern amenities that include 24-hour room service, fitness centers, spa services, and on-site restaurants and bars. To stay in the city for a fraction of the price, consider an inn or motel near the Interstate exits.
