  • Used to love this place but not a whole lot changes. I've been going since 1998. The food is OK. You'd be better off visiting the actual restaurants these places are from. Good thing would be the farmers market every year; wide selection of fresh produce, farm goods and flowers.
  • Excellent location for lunch if you are in the area or if you have time to drive in and people watch. There were about a dozen restaurants that all had very fresh and affordable options. I had polish and my wife had Indian, both meals were great. I wouldn't really consider this place a market, you can't stop by and pick up ingredients for dinner, unless you want seafood or cheese, those were the only stalls selling unprepared food on a Tuesday afternoon.
  • The North Market is mostly made up of prepared foods vendors. There is also a fresh meat / seafood vendor, spices, kitchen gadgets, etc. Most of the vendors are marketing to the Convention / visitor crowd as most of the items are way over priced ($9 for just a quesadilla, $14 for a lunch plate, $4.50 for ice cream). You also have to pay min $2 for parking with purchase from a market vendor. On Saturdays there is also a farmer's market. The Market was clean and worth going to if you are staying nearby and have 30 minutes.
  • So amazing. This place has something for every taste. I could eat there every day for a month and never get the same thing twice or run out of options to try. Highly recommend this place for a quick but awesome meal and they have other shops selling flowers, gifts, etc. too. It's got a great vibe. They validate the parking with purchase.
  • Awesome large market with a good variety of vendors. Wonderful meat vendors. Unique gift ideas. Hard to find kitchen wares. Great desserts. Parking costs so be sure to get your ticket validated by a vendor. The lot can be tricky to maneuver and it fills up very quickly. Not much off street parking either.
