  • What a perfect night out. Was in town for a conference and looking for something fun to. Didn't win but I loved the free activities held on Wednesdays and casino was not crowded and all smoke like mos...  read more »
  • I was surprised to find a casino in Columbus. Spontaneously jumped off the freeway to check it out. Played $20 on craps and left with $600 within 10 minutes. Yes, a great place to play!
  • We stop in this Cassino a few times a year when in the Columbus area. It's comparable to the other Cassinos in Ohio. Fairly large space but it's not Vegas. Decent food. Frankly, considering most of us...  read more »
  • Hollywood is such a joke, I've been treated poorly by their employees on so many occasions I can't even remember the last time I was treated with good service here. You talk about tight machines, might as well have handed my money to the security officer when I walked in. Arrived at 8:30ish pm on Friday, went to the bar and received a bourbon and coke from the rudest bar tender who said nothing to me only the cost of the drink. Drink was 7 bucks, was mostly ice and while it looks like a shot, guaranteed it was maybe 1/3 of shot of alcohol in it. Anyway, sat down at a slot machine, lost $500 in literally 25 minutes on a quarter video poker game, almost had my phone stolen by some creepy person that looked like they were homeless and was back at my car at 9:10pm. I'm out $506 in literally 45 mins. On top of it all, saw two dudes breaking into cars in the parking lot and watched a security truck drive right by them while driver was playing on his cell phone. I called the cops myself for crying out loud. What a dump of an establishment. Save your money and go to the track!
  • Don't go in expecting to win, especially slots. Or the bonus boards unless you're using a walker, cane or on oxygen. An abundance of old people hitting bonus on every machine you get up from. Plus taking up two or machines at a time. Better off going to Scioto downs. If you do happen to get a bonus after spinning about 20$ it pays out little to nothing. Max bet and watch you win NOTHING. If you're under 60 and in good health you won't win. At least if you're going to go in with a couple hundred you'd expect to win a little. Do not go here. Save your money. We've been going since it opened. If you do go, while you're walking in just look at all the pissed off faces. A little extra be prepared for druggies to ask for money too.
  • Probably one of the nicest looking places I've ever been into in columbus, great place to work. Typically a nice place to come at night, people are watched over very carefully and are taken care of very well take 2 is a great 24 hour fastfood place to get a bite to eat for not a too expensive price and a lot of people do win but that being said its a casino so not everyone is as lucky! Best of luck to you all!
  • Large casino, I mainly play poker and they had a very limited number of options. Had to wait and hour to play. Only options were 1/2 No Limits, with a 10% take $5 maximum drop. The felt was very used, and the dealers were clearly less experienced than even most home game dealers. Food was average - I was there in the middle of the night so maybe their nicer restaurant had better food? No jackpots, but every hour starting @ 7am they give $500 to one of the poker players - This is called the "Hot Seat" - and during the week at 7am there were only 20 people there so I had a 1/20 chance of winning 5 bills just for sitting there playing 1/20. There are also tournaments, which I didn't play No hotel on site. In a very low socioeconomic area on the West Side of Columbus. But the only game in town. Lots of regulars. Friendly. I will be back when I'm visiting and jet lagged.
  • If they want you to blow big money, win nothing, and then come back again to try to get lucky, the very least they can do is make sure you have a good time for your investment. I never saw a slot machine pay out the whole time I was there!!! I constantly had the impression at the tables that I'd won more than they were paying, and the way they watch you makes you feel like a criminal and unwelcome. I'm handicapped and wound up standing in line a lot for service, for tables and valet parking. The staff seems to be interested in only two things - getting your money and ignoring you when you need something. I'd like to go back again to give them a second chance but the way I was treated the first time makes me very hesitant. I'm a diabetic and can't drink alcohol which apparently makes me a trespasser.
