  • This is a fun family event. It's had a current renovation, too. If you go on Sunday's it's free to visit.
  • Been a while since my son was in school, but we took several trips to the Museum. It was a very pleasurable experience and enjoyed it tremendously.
  • When I visited the main gallery had a travelling exhibit I had seen elsewhere, so I focused on the side galleries. They were wonderful, particularly on the second floor. Restaurant is very nice. Outdo...  read more »
  • For a small gallery, this museum has a nice variety of art, most of which is american in origin. The building itself is gorgeous and has ample, comfortable seating. I didn't really like all of the activities they had placed around, though they are probably nice if you bring small kids to the museum. Good experience.
  • While this isn't a particularly large museum the collection is well curated and they make great use of the space. An extension was added several years ago and includes galleries for more contemporary art as well as an even space and cafe. Was pleasantly surprised to find that they offer both free parking and admission every Sunday. There is a donation box at the door but they aren't pushy about demanding any sort of suggested donation. Though if you can afford to make a donation to support the museum you certainly should!
  • Small, stretched thin and a little over priced to get in based on number of displays. There is currently a Picasso exhibit (summer 2016) that makes it worth the effort, but if you've ever been to the museums in NYC or SF you'll be underwhelmed.
  • Wonderfully curated exhibits. Fun interactive activities for kids (put on costumes, respond to the art with post-it notes) spread throughout the museum. An excellent selection of modern art with some older masters. The museum has reciprocity membership with various other museums like the Philadelphia museum of art.
  • Very small art museum for a city of this size, but still a very nice collection in many different styles. The new modern art wing is great. Check this place out on Sundays for free admission (donations encouraged).
