  • Well worth a visit. I am not a real history buff but enjoyed the exhibits. It's not your typical civil war museum and has remnants of an Ironclad. (Civil war boat)  more »
  • A nice civil war museum mostly of the Confederacy. Very interesting, a lot of information, much of which you never knew or heard of. Worth the time to see.  more »
  • This museum had a lot more exhibits and information than we were expecting. The hull of the recovered boat was particularly interesting just to see its size. Lots of history I never knew.  more »

  • Very interesting place. A lot of civil war history here. We took our daughters on a Sunday and had a great time. Several original items that had been preserved. And it isn't all about the confederacy. I learned a good bit that day. Definitely worth the price of admission.
  • IS IT FREE? I want to know cause it looks fun to go, but I want to know if it is free to go, or do you have to pay to get in the building.
  • Great museum. Some of the most intersting displays you'll find about a little written about aspect of the Civil War.
  • Lots of interesting artefacts and we'll put together displays. Worth the money.
  • A really fantastic museum. Under-rated. Fine collection of scale models, vintage flags, as well as salvaged boats from the Era.
