  • Fun playgrounds, nice lake, open spaces for picnics, relaxing, or kite flying. Splash pad and lake with swimming area is great for little kids. My daughter loves the ability to play in the sand, swim, and run through the splash pad fountains all in the same place.
  • Great, well kept park. Has a concrete walking/running path with both a shorter and longer route. 3 playgrounds and a great sledding hill. You can catch concerts here on Thursday nights in summer. Also has a swimming and fishing pond.
  • Beautiful park near the center of the city, lots of shady walking trails with well placed benches and warm up areas. Splash park, swimming beach, fishing, amphitheater, shelters with closely located restrooms. Parking available at multiple locations around the park. It is a lovely park. The walking trails have connections to the Hinson trail.
  • A wonderful park with a large lake divided into a fishing area and swimming area. With 3 large playgrounds and a huge walking trail that takes you past 2 waterfalls and through natural Missouri grasslands, this is one of the best parks in Columbia for picnicking and running.
  • Beautifully maintained park with lots of great concrete paved walkways. My wife and I thought it was beautiful enough to get married here 2 years ago! Also for those interested there are a great number of PokeStops here since the release of Pokemon Go.
