  • If you like water and pleasant mild adventure/nature then you may enjoy renting a canoe at Finger Lakes SP like we did. Great cool midweek weather with almost no others around. Reclaimed land from for...  more »
  • It's a great place to camp, fish, explore, and ride your atv's!! The bathrooms are clean and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. It's great for families!
  • The area is very serene and peaceful. The view is nice and the area is very clean. For fishing, i would recommend using a boat since the banks have cedar in the water for fish habitats.

  • Nice place to camp. Don't go for a peaceful camping experience as this park is busy with 4-wheelers, kids, and a nearby shooting range. The one major bummer was the park ranger. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 6am. At 10:06 (the night that daily savings time ended as well) the ranger approached and said he could here our music past the outhouse (which seemed like a stretch considering it was hard to hear by simply walking to our tents 20 feet away). He was not friendly or approachable. He demanded to know who had the site rented and then wanted their licence. He took down all the info, which is weird because they had it all on file, and left. I've had ranger experiences in many other state parks and all have been polite and friendly in the way the approach campers.
  • Kayaking is not to bad but four wheeler trails suck and ranger is a dick. He stopped by yelling who's car is that twice because we had one of the two vehicles allowed at each site with two tires on the pavement and two off. Wanted us to move it about a foot closer to the other vehicle which didn't keep it completely off the grass. Just now he stopped by and made us turn off radio which was barely audible over normal conversation. Park is nice, but the ranger is not friendly at all. Would be nice for a day, but he picks at everything. Wouldn't advise staying.
  • RUDE HARASSING ticket happy writing RANGER setting up speed traps before entering park entrance BEWARE!!!!!!!!
  • Way over priced, the park ranger is extremely rude! The trails are not all that great either. The camp spot was pretty, but totally not worth it.
  • We were excited to go kayaking...upon entrance to the lake we were both about 85% certain it was sewage. The underwater weeds were thick and so abundant they'd snag the oars, making it difficult to get any sort of momentum in the stagnant water. We turned around after 15 minutes and raced to get out. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to current river or table rock lake where it's worth the money.
