  • It is a decent Park. Large by Park standards. There is a body of water in the middle. Someone called a pond, but I think it's a bit large for a pond. But not quite a lake. There are four General areas for kids to play. There used to be a water area where you could rent water craft and go into the pond with them. There used to be a specific swimming area as well. This is not exactly a lake or Pond that I would expect somebody to go swimming in. The place has and ducks and a number of people feed them bread. So if you are anywhere near the water and have something in your hand, expect geese and ducks to be flocking around you. This can be a bit scary for younger children. A long one side is a shuffleboard area, and a swimming pool building. There is also a track that goes around the entire body of water. It is almost exactly 1 mile long. And there is a circuit course that follows the track. Then of course there's the velodrome where the Olympic Committee practices their cycling. There is a skateboarding area as well. On top of that, there are about three baseball fields and a number of soccer fields and a couple of football fields. All multi-purpose. It's a great place to fly a kite too. Is even home to the fabled Balloon Classic which happens on Labor Day weekend. All in all, it is a good Park.
  • A Great Community Gathering: I never feel safe at this place during large events because some of the local crowds are more than questionable. But any of time, it's a safe and quiet place for lunch or to explore a daily work routine. The Balloon Festival is what brings me and my family ever year, for years to come. There is a great playground with state of the art playground equipment from literally from the ground and up.
  • Was here the other day with my kids. I'm pretty sure I seen a drug deal happen & also prostitution!!! There are men here doing drugs in the parking lots here! This is not how a park should be! Its a beautiful park but I dont understand why Colorado spring police is not taking care of this!! Its sickening! ):
  • It's a nice park to walk around and see ducks. They have a kid park. A YMCA pool. And the fire fighter memorial. They have lots of activities on holidays.
  • I love to spend time here with my dogs and family. Great for picnics and family reunions, lots of activities within the park boundaries and damn near everything else in town isn't more than 15 minutes away.
