Where to stay in Colorado Springs

To experience the scenic beauty surrounding Colorado Springs while on holiday, consider staying at a resort just outside the city, offering sweeping views of the mountains plus access to championship golf courses, tennis courts, and spa/fitness facilities. You can also discover Colorado's great outdoors by pitching a tent at one of the area's many campgrounds, or by renting a cozy cottage or mountain cabin.  If you prefer to stay near downtown, consider a moderately priced inn or motel, located a short walk from the city's finest shops and restaurants.

  • Nice recreational area that is in town. Good sized lake for water activities such as fishing, boating, paddle boarding, and swimming. Nice playgrounds and picnic areas. Awesome skate park, ice rink, and tennis & basketball courts. Generally an amazing recreational area that is right in the center of town. I also enjoy coming to the events that are held here such as the balloon glow, spring spree, movie under the stars, and of course the Fourth of July fireworks.
  • Walking trails, broad fields, and Prospect Lake are fairly nice, though it's not necessarily the best part of town. Typically better during the day. On the years that they have 4th of July fireworks, it can be really entrancing to watch up close (but you pay for it by having to deal with parking and traffic during events like that). They have various other events throughout the year that are worth considering, too.
  • Not a fan of this place bad element s hang out around the south end. Can not recommend.
  • Nice to visit here, just not good any more. We need to take our park back from drug activity. So sad, dangerous for children, for anyone..to many shootings and violence..
  • Very nice space with fun things to do. They hold fun events and the view is great
