I hate to rate this as Average, but it is. I go about nice a month because my dog loves it and I can get a decent workout by sticking to the outer loop which gives me a rolling 3 mile trail. Great for...  more »

Came to Fox Run to research the Ute prayer and ceremonial trees (culturally modified trees). These make a fascinating path through the park and are worth looking into before you visit (just google/You...  more »

A beautiful and peaceful park with awesome play structures for families and children of all ages. The park is extremely well cared for and perfect for grilling picnics, sports and fun. We were visiting family in Colorado Springs and wish we had a park like Fox Run near our home in Florida. We highly recommend this park to anyone who loves enjoying the outdoors!

This place is one of my favorites. We've been here a million times. Great trails for walking or biking. Nice play area for the little ones. Great pavilions for birthday parties. They even have a dog park. We really do love this park.

Nice park for a variety of activities. You can rent a pavilion for a group BBQ. You can play in the huge open area or on the large playground. You can take a nice walk through the woods to the lakes. Or you can find geocaches in a few different locations around the park. It's a nice family park.

It's not too big to get lost in, and it sure is pretty. Went today around 4:30pm with my two dogs and it was relatively busy, but not too much. The fenced in dog area is quite nice and the whole park is very well maintained. I kept thinking, this is my tax dollars at work! Well done!

A great local hike for people in Colorado Springs. Close enough to Denver that you could swing down in about 45 minutes. Nice Loop trails from the parking lot ranging from 2 to 4 miles. A little road noise but not much traffic in this area.

Where to stay in Colorado Springs

To experience the scenic beauty surrounding Colorado Springs while on holiday, consider staying at a resort just outside the city, offering sweeping views of the mountains plus access to championship golf courses, tennis courts, and spa/fitness facilities. You can also discover Colorado's great outdoors by pitching a tent at one of the area's many campgrounds, or by renting a cozy cottage or mountain cabin.  If you prefer to stay near downtown, consider a moderately priced inn or motel, located a short walk from the city's finest shops and restaurants.
