  • I have always loved this park. Growing up in Black Forest, this was always one place we'd go. While some stuff has been added (evidently weddings are popular now at the park), it still holds true to my childhood. Great easy trails to walk on, plenty of space to have a family barbecue. I just a great slice of Colorado nature.
  • I mostly go for the dog-park, which is very spacious and wooded; almost a little hike in and of itself. The people have always been friendly and welcoming. The rest of the park is very nice as well with a big lake and plenty to explore and discover but MIND THE POTHOLES at the entrance. Sedans will have difficulty entering, as the potholes on the dirt road entrance are frequent enough to be impossible to miss and some are almost a foot deep so seriously make sure to only come if you have a sturdy suspension!
  • I liked this place. I just wish it was closer to my house. My husband and I did some geocaching here. There are lots of caches here. Great place for picnicing, hiking, biking, relaxing. There are even good places to have group parties. I will be returning!
  • Great park for hiking, biking. Underused. Dry after rain. Quick after-work ride with multiple loops for a good cardio workout.
  • A great regional park full of trails and ponds and playgrounds for the little ones. Picnic tables and trails to walk or run and even a fenced dog park. This park has pines trees and even plenty of grass.
