SFO who went to weekend walks and picnic lunch. Old buildings are save and use to clean the atmosphere. So close to a large park, enjoyed a half-day.

Great College here in Colorado Springs. Like most colleges the faculty is a bit too liberal for my liking but any young person with their own strong convictions be it liberal or conservative will survive ok here. The campus is beautiful and location can't be beat.

Colorado College, or CC, is an excellent place to study and grow as an undergrad! My son loves it there & has had the wonderful opportunity to take a wide variety of courses from top faculty while also pursuing his passion in Music. The Music Dept. is first rate! And the Administration is caring and works hard to make sure all students feel welcomed there. It's not easy to get into, but if you do, take advantage of the many opportunities that await you as a student at CC!! A+++++

I'm not a student here and cannot speak to the policies or education. However, the architecture on campus is absolutely stunning (I felt like I was applying for Hogwarts). The only professor I am aware from this school is Dave Mason, and boasting a former Poet Laureate for the entire state of Colorado (who is amazingly kind) as a professor is definitely reason to want to go here.

Where to stay in Colorado Springs

To experience the scenic beauty surrounding Colorado Springs while on holiday, consider staying at a resort just outside the city, offering sweeping views of the mountains plus access to championship golf courses, tennis courts, and spa/fitness facilities. You can also discover Colorado's great outdoors by pitching a tent at one of the area's many campgrounds, or by renting a cozy cottage or mountain cabin.  If you prefer to stay near downtown, consider a moderately priced inn or motel, located a short walk from the city's finest shops and restaurants.
