  • Beautiful little state park area out in the middle of nowhere... As you drive by it you think look at that little hill in the middle of a field.. So you turn off the main road and take a short drive up to the top to be blown away by the beauty.. You can look 365 degrees as far as you can see.. Great hill to walk, jog or bike up.. Nice clean restroom up at the top parking lot. Great potty break stop if your traveling through and check out the view
  • It is a beautiful view from the top. There isn't really any place to have a picnic and enjoy your day there. It is more like a drive look and leave place. They have picnic tables at the bottom but the grass was 10 foot tall.
  • A beautiful place. Emblematic of the Palouse. 360 degree view of the entire area and the diversity of terrain. If I could only go to one place in the Palouse, this is it. Accessible to all.
  • The best view of the Palouse. Go at sunrise or sunset for the most dramatic views, just be cautious and watch for photographers lining the road.
  • The apple groves are awesome and delicious! The drive to the top is a little sketchy. Not for the timid. You are however rewarded with magnificent views.
