  • We had a good time feeding the fish, learning about differnet kinds of fish and where they live and survive
  • cold spring harbor a beautiful small town by the north shores of long island , Visit the hatchery and the little church next to the little lake.
  • The place is fun for both adults and children. Apart from the hatchery there are also couple off indoor aquariums. There is a nature conservancy trail. You have to take the keys to the gate to get to ...  more »

  • Trout hatchery on the north shore, it's fascinating to see how the fish are bred and raised. If you want fishing, they have that too, for an additional fee. Indoor exhibits of local fish and amphibians. They used to have a massive snapping turtle that died a few years ago at over a hundred years old, but they had him stuffed, and he's still very impressive. It's not a big place but it's six bucks to get in. There's also a gorgeous lake out back next to a church that offers killer views to the photographer in you.
  • A hidden gem on The Island! A great trip for the kids. They will love feeding the fish, playing and enjoying the lawn area. Pack a lunch!
  • Expensive for a guest pass. For the price they could offer a fancier experience.
  • This place is a freakin scam. First they hit ya with a 5 dollar charge just to walk in there, then an extra fee for bait, then they make you sign some stupid friggin contract. And on top of that its an extra 4 bucks for every fish you catch. Well my friend and I both experienced fisherman were there for 2 hours with the best equipment and the "bait" we paid for and not 1 of the like 80 fish in there bit it the whole time. And they apparently kick you out at 3 which makes absolutly no sense. So caught no fish and wasted time and momey. And by the way the employees (some) are frigin douche bags!
  • Great place nice family events
