  • A nice clean park. A bunch of things to do especially for kids. The people were very friendly and there are a whole bunch of different places to eat within walking distance from the park.
  • Ever since the redevelopment of the area this park has tripled in usefulness since. There is a parking garage that has decent prices. I believe the first hour or two are free. Tons of biking and walking/jogging paths and biking paths. All the paths lead to great locations like Tubbs Hill, the Water-park that's open during the summer, kids play area, tennis courts, basketball courts and a dog park. Adventuring a little more you can also go to Downtown CDA, the CDA beach, NIC, Sanders Beach and many many more locations. The area is kept clean and maintained. Bathrooms are great in terms of public bathrooms. The only negative thing I can think of is there isn't a whole lot of area for shade. The trees are still young so don't provide much for shade - yet. So bring water and sunscreen.
  • I went to hike Tubbs Hill. The actual park was clean and the facilities were wonderful. As for the trail, the first half was really crowded, and included kids who were riding scooters and practically running over people. The back side of the trail was quieter. I had the opportunity to see a couple deer. I enjoyed the backside of the trail.
  • Don't park directly across the street! There is free parking on the same side of the road as the park! Amazing crystal clear water, beautiful photo spots, somewhat easily accessible swimming areas, public restroom, plenty of places to sit/ take the dogs. Passing through from GA to WA and I'm so glad I stopped!
  • Dog park, playground, splash pad, large open field for picnics, and access to the lake and Tubbs Hill for hiking/swimming. Fun for the entire family. But they need more covered benches on the sidewalks, especially near the splash pad. Also, how about some mobile food vendors. Maybe some live music. Let's make better use of all this open space.
  • Great park! Just s bit big and seems to be easy to loose site of your kid. Otherwise it's wonderful.
