  • This place was amazing! First of all, the website does not do it justice. It is huge and you could spend all day here. He went with our kids (10 and 14) and loved seeing all of the butterflies flying ...  more »
  • Amazing butterfly gardens. Kids loved watching butterflies hatch. Rain cut our trip short but we are excited to go again. Food options were pretty sub par on site
  • Absolutely beautiful, the gardens, the butterflies, birds. The vibes this place has is very serene. I love how educational it can be for the children, family, perfect for a date as well. I think the price can be a little lower and maybe add some lily pads in the water under the bridge to give it some color and life; but nonetheless a great time to spend with anyone or yourself.
  • Simply the best. We have been to other butterfly gardens, but never any that were as large, as well-designed, or as relaxing as Butterfly World. There are benches strategically placed to allow you to sit and let the butterflies come to you, and they do. The music piped throughout the facility is calming as well, and adds to the feel. The aviary is small, but cool - we got to see two baby quail, which seem impossibly small. We also enjoyed the botanical sections. The lorikeet encounter is a must-do - the birds are beautiful, and very friendly. It's $1 per cup to feed them from your hand. Just be careful if they land on your shoulder - they have very loud voices.
  • It's a beautiful place with a very unique experience. As soon as you enter, you get to learn about the process butterflies to through in their lifetime. Then you enter the garden and you are quickly hit with hundreds of butterflies flying around. Some are easy to spot but others, you gotta look for! Be sure to grab a pamphlet so you can try and discover them all. Don't forget your wallet, this place is pricey! The entrance, the gift shop and the food! I believe the price is worth it though, it's a great experience. Be sure to check out the garden with the plants, they have a lot of beautiful and unique species.
  • The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they're a bit pricey at $25/person. But the experience is beautiful & relaxing. If you love butterflies like I do, you will be amazed. There are lots of benches to sit down & take as much time as you want to let the butterflies fly all around you. They have alot of colorful species and beautiful flower gardens. They have a lorikeet room and also a spider exhibit. An indoor butterfly gallery and a lab where you can see live butterflies & caterpillars transforming. Such an amazing once in a lifetime experience. They don't have much for food, just burgers & pizza but it's a fair price. When planning, be aware this is an OUTDOOR park and is subject to the elements. This is Florida - it rains often and can be very hot and humid. So dress accordingly, use your sunscreen and bring an umbrella or poncho just in case.
